Well I just discovered Notessimo as a whole and find this community to be small but awesome. So hereās my first go at the TTFATF challenge.

Wow, youād think Iād have noticed this forum before.
Anyway, ok. So, Iāve seen a lot of people try and make this song. Granted, it is hard, but jeez people, that means you have to try harder to make it sound better. Some people are not trying hard enough, or some people just canāt make this song. Thatās ok, Iām not pointing fingers of blame at people, I just wanted share a few tips about making this song.
- There are no chords on the accoustic part at the beginning. Where are all these harmonics coming from? There arenāt any in the real song.
- What is with the key? Doesnāt anyone know what key the song is in? For the intro, it starts on C. C D Eb C D Eb F C G C F C Eb C D B. Refer to link below.
- Every note counts. This isnāt one of those songs where you can put say, 1 eighths instead of four in then slow it down. It doesnāt work on this one.
- If youāre trying to remake the song well, it helps to study it well. Seriously, donāt go putting in big other crazy parts, if youāre going to add in, say, an extra riff, keep it simple. And if you know the song well, try and stick by the way it goes, as opposed to, say going into a high pitched section when it should be a low pitched section. And try to figure out where all the parts go. It wonāt do to leave any out or put them in the wrong place, now, would it?
- Try your hardest. Like I mentioned before, this is a hard song, so donāt give it some half-assed attempt. Approach it with vigor and enthusiasm.
Iām not criticising anyone here, because, the songs are all quite good, theyāre just not there yet.
Also, I had a try at making the intro and half a verse. Iāll had to it later, Iām (maybe) going to try and finish the whole song. It still needs some fine tuning and a few more parts, but Iām pleased with the result so far.
EDIT: Also, I forgot to mention that I did this pretty much from memory. I know that a few parts are quite different, itās not that I didnāt try to do them the right way, I just forgot how they went. xP
