It’s absolutely possible. Just download the notessimo converter (and java, if you don’t have it), extract the .jar file from the compressed folder and run it with java. Right now you can only convert directly to .wav, but you can use iTunes or audacity to convert the .wav into an .mp3 file, which you can then play on your iPod.
