Perhaps you’ve heard already, but I’d really like to see a triplet duration function. Up until now I’ve had acceptable results by doubling (tripling if possible) the tempo and using a 24-20-20 over one measure. It’s close, but for fast songs with 16th note triplets (see One Winged Angel) it gets choppy.
Could there be a ‘triplet check box’ or something? For example, you want to make trips over a half note. You put 32 in the note duration box and select a ‘triplets box’ and it cuts the note into three equal parts for you.
EDIT: When Kd was arranging Speed of Light, there was a part that was triplets. Multiply the BPM by 1.5 and multiply the note values of the notes by 1.5 also (8=12, 16=24, etc.) Make the notes (say 1/16th note trips) as 1/16 on Notessimo. However, if you have a drum/rhythm part that is 1/16, multiply the BPM by 3, and the note values by 3. Place the 1/16 triplet as 1/8th notes or whatever you have to copy.
