well i’ve actually got quite a few song ideas i’m working on but i think the one i’ll finish first is a rock-techno mix kind of thingthat’s part of The Experiment series, i also have something i was thinking of adding to the RPG list (http://notessimo.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=507&st=0&sk=t&sd=a) with congas and creepy chords, along with some other stuff that i’m sitting on

Critic Rating: (CRITIC Rating)
The Experiment: The Search: You kinda lost me on Sheet 1. The Chorus is neat. The Bass reminds me of one of my favourite bands Pendulum. The echo in Sheet 6 is neat. Great panning effects. Along the way things got a little bit repeative with the constant guitar line. Around 02:43, again, you kinda lost me. Don’t take this as a competion or anything but I think you should probably ease up on the metal guitar.
Other than that. 4/5.
The Cursed: Spooky opening. Gives me chills. The oboe was neat, kewl how it fit in. Sheet 2 was nice, espically with the oboe alone. That’s what I like about the song. Got lots of melody in there. The parts with diminished notes defintely suited the song. 2:55 to 3:27, I don’t think Sheet 5 should be repeated. Overall 3.9/5.
The Congan War: I’ll let you easy on this one since it’s what, your first song. The opening wasn’t catchy. The whole mono-instrument thing by itself wasn’t really…smmeh, catchy again. The guitar, HOWEVER, caught my attention. Unfortunealy the bug of the metal guitar kinda ruined it but I don’t blame you. The ending didn’t seem as good as I thought. Overall: 4.1/5 Good for RPG’s though.
The Samaritan: Very nice, good to get away from metal guitars. I actually liked this one out of all the over ones. Very relaxing. Everything was perfect. 5/5.
The Last Song: You should have added a bass like Yoshi. But I’ll let that go. You pretty much caught my attention except for Sheet 9 and Sheet 10. I liked the rest though. 4.5/5
The Forbidden: Pop rock? Totally Pendulum. I liked the intro a lot. Sheet 5 kinda broke my attention and I got lost. Same for Sheet 6. Those beginnings at the two sheets didn’t seem right. Same for Sheet 7. Sheet 8 was okay. I say it for 10 as well. 3.7/5.
Outrunning Death: The Intro was weird. I kinda see a theme but I don’t think we need the diminshed notes a lot at the end. Panning was neat. Sheet 10 had the riff which was cool. Can’t say anything about Sheet 0 except for the voices were out of line and the hellish ending was freaky. My Rating: 3/5. For Horror: 5/5.
The Devil’s Prayer: Again, another nice inro. Without the 50 tempo showing how slow it was going, I say it would be neat. The whole Sheet 0 and 1 thing was weird. Hearing Sheet 2 reminded me of war somehow. 
The rest I couldn’t really figure out. 3.6/5
The Impossible: I liked the 3-4 timing of this. I’d say this is my 3rd favourite next to The Devil’s Dance. To sum it up. "Impossible.’ 6/5
The Empire: I think you repeated this in Think. The intro wasn’t appealing personally. Until you got to Sheet 2 I began to take that back. Sheet 4 was an iffy. Glad to get away from the guitar for a while. Sheet 7 really made no sense to me. The rest with the guitar, honestly from me, the changes in the song didn’t really suit the title Empire. Without the tempo change and the guitar I think you could have done something like you did in The Cursed. Sheet 11 was pleasant. 4.2/5
The Lost: The intro was abosultely great. Really felt like I was lost somewhere. Totally displays adventure. The whole song was great. Even without metal guitars that’s what I like to see you do. It’s more creative. 5/5.
The Takeover: By now I have noticed like 85% of yout songs start with “the.” Never played MK. I did like the guitar riffs and the little melody that was going on. The intro was halfsie. Sheet 1 was weird but as a battle song nice. The thing in Sheet 4 was the only part that I say was the best riff I have ever heard out of all of your songs. Can’t give credit to you because Sony probably did. The orchestal hit, one part in Sheet 7 didn’t seem to fit. It happens before Panel 27 (2). On Sheet 8 the synthesizer bass was really enjoyable. The orch hit was corrected and I liked that (Sheet 10). Sheet 12 had a neat bass line to it. The ending seemed just right. 4.8/5.

i think you’re pretty spot on with these critiques, Unknowned. i could probably make my songs better or just have them start out good but by the time im almost finished i just want to move on to another. and i usually usethe metal guitar cuz it’s the only one that sounds like a guitar that good rock bands would use (Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, etc). i would like to hear you remix or fix a song or two of mine if you had the time.
and i’m sorry but i dont really have any inspirations to give. well, i’m kind of doing a tributary song to the Battle of Tannenberg in WWI with the drums sounding like a train, trying to find instruments to make like train whistle sounds or something (and i’m sorry but there’s some metal guitars ). i got that idea from Band class (was playing on the drums (even though im not supposed to cuz im a trumpet ) and just kind of thought the rest up) it’s probably going to fail though just cuz thats how i roll

Here’s a Substance Remix of one of your Experiment Songs.
Again was alright except for a few parts that didnt really sound great or didnt fit with the song. it also didnt really go anywhere, like it was the same beat, rhythym, melody but with more instruments doing the same thing. at preset 2 with the acoustic guitar really low like that didnt really sound good and the transitions weren’t great (5,8,9) but it’s a good tune overall.
on ur Substance remix the low drumbeat was kind of overbearing but i liked it nonetheless

The congan War…
I dont know theres something about that song I just dont like, I mean the softness just felt like it was building up to something badass but then I realized the whole song was kept at the same exact metronome. If that song blew out into some kind of… song, It would have probably been one of the best songs written on notessimo

lol, that was like my first song ever, the ending was the best thing i could come up with . i’ve been meaning to go back to some of my previous songs, including The Congan War, and make them better but i’ve been making new stuff, maybe now’s a good time to go back to the basics

One of the best intro ive ever heard. I can’t think of any bad criticism, only thing i can think of is that the drums where a little dull but i had a feeling if the drums where any different it could have ruined the whole song. Try listening to it without looking at the sheet music, It sounds like a professional track!
