Yeah, I saw this song too. It sounds really good!
I see what you did there…
As for sorin’s song, is there much more I can say but… AWESOME!?
I’m hoping this will turn out to be my best song, but for now this is just My concepts for the song. Sheet 0 will be the chorus, and the other sheets are me experimenting with a verse. At some parts I’d break my pentatonic scale and change it from major to minor for a single note.

It surprisingly loops very well (in fact, the part that has the worst transition is the worst is in between sheets 0 and 1, instead of from the end back to the beginning)
How 'bout instead of all that --which complicates your song and kinda makes it not sounded too good–, you just base your song(s) off of a chord or two?
srsly.
I don’t like chords.
I’m just (trying to) follow in Starwars footsteps. He says to not Focus on Music theory at all - Which I’m doing with this song (I just found out I had been doing that Switch between scales thing after I did it)
You made a song!
So anyway, I was reading Star’s guide about intros,
then I realized I hated reading and forgot all about it.
This is the unfinished “some metal song” that I published a while ago; I added a real title to it. I finally decided to work on it today, after not touching it for about two months. (It’s still unfinished, though)
Any feedback, positive or negative, is appreciated.
115 by Elena Siegman…hey, i like Black Ops okay?
First of all, happy Thanksgiving to all of you! ![]()
Now, to present you with my unfinished songs of the week:
「Bagels」 A loop with soft guitars, a vibraphone, and volume modulation.
「Crazy Ivan」 Those green synths… [giggle]
「Exotic Fruit」 A loop with soft guitars and cymbals.
「Sarcasm」 Metal guitar loop.
「Yes」 Same premise as Bagels, but faster and more harmonic.
Your songs are good Karo. They’re all in their early stages. Make them all interesting!
Oh man lot’s of songs this Thanksgiving…well i guess that is a misnomer because they are all unfinished but…nvm I’ll get on with some critique.
Octo: Lol. Only problem I see with your song is the saxophones are a little too loud. Sheet 6 <3
Soren: Probably the most serious one, because it took a HUGE nose-dive. The new material is great, but why did you have to go and add stuff onto the old sheets, like sheet 9? They sounded better beforehand imo. Note however that the new chorus (sheet 17-19-17-20) sound incredible. KEEP WORKING ON IT AND THE OTHER ANIME SONG BECAUSE THAT SONG IS THE FIRST COVER THAT I LIKE MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL.
Edzor: Not the best song to cover, but hey I’ll take it. Welcome to the forums!
Karo: Lots of songs to choose from, so I’ll only do the one I thought I’d like to hear completed the most: Crazy Ivan. What I would do is completely scrap the beginning sheets and start the song at sheet 5, it sounded much better as an intro and had a much better overall sound once the drums came in.
Wasn’t thanksgiving a month ago?
Nice song Octo! I like your melodieeeeeeeeeees (prolonged-pressing of keyboard to make “melodies” sound less technical).
Wasn’t thanksgiving a month ago?
We had thanksgiving too today. It was only saying thanks to people for no reason though.
Ok, I REALLY want StarWars opinion on this, because I’m doing it by ear.
Well if ur doing this by ear, even though ive never heard the song…Id’e say its pretty good so far:)
Yay! I REALLY want StarWars opinion, because he made “Free Bird” so I want to see if this will be as good as that.
Continue? Y/N

Slip: I like it so far, but a cover is not great until it’s finished. The organ guitar combo sounds horrible in Notessimo but oddly enough, exactly what I would’ve done. Be sure to add some bass!
