THERE’S NO MELODY YET.
Just started it a few days ago. I mainly worked on volume and tempo.
EDIT: @Kaveman
Tune 1:
Why were the first 2 hits so soft?
Add some hi-hat to sheets 1 and 0!
The rest of it sounds good, and I bet you could make something out of 2 DEFINITELY.
Tune 2:
Didn’t enjoy it that much, but it’s not bad.
Low tubular bells: Ouch. (Mainly the 2nd one!)
Tune 3:
Star called 5 beatiful, but I call this one beatiful.
Tune 4:
The Bass drum killed you.
Make the Electric Guitar lengths 9, that should help.
It’s actually not that bad. (What solo are you talking about?)
I believe you’ve heard the song “Walk This Way” by Aerosmith, haven’t you?
Tune 5:
Something was off in the beginning, presumably the metal guitar.
Lower Female voices didn’t fit well.
Cymbals could be softer or snares should be a bit softer.
Little repetitive, don’t you think?
Overall, a great unfinished song demo thing-a-ma-jigger.
Tune 3, that’s all I’m going to say.
Regarding Tune 1: The sheet 4 was intended to be a fade-in (See thread title). Not sure what you mean by the “hi-hats”. The crash at the start of sheet 1?
Regarding Tune 2: The sheet 4 was intended to be a fade-in (See thread title). Not sure what you mean by the “hi-hats”. The crash at the start of sheet 1?
Regarding Tune 4: The “solo” is on sheet 3. As I said, it’s bad.
No, I had never heard “Walk This Way” until after you mentioned it. Why do you ask?
Regarding Tune 5: Yes, it’s repetitive. I was experimenting with repeating the chorus. I also didn’t finish making the chorus less repetitive.
Regarding “Total Eclipse of the Heart”: Very good. sounds close to the original. Not sure if “Male Vox #1” fits Bonnie Tyler’s voice, though.
Regarding the Synth Bass #2, I looked at all the other basses, and none could come close to it (Regarding Sound length and tune).
If anybody has any ideas with it, tell or show me.
–If this is 1978, I’d kill myself. (For those who don’t know, 1978 is when disco “died”)
Probably the last demo I’ll put in for this song. It’ll be in my thread.
