I started a more techno kind of song that uses all kinds of synths and drums and everything. Oh yeah, I’ve only done about 5 sheets so far.

I’ve come back with four demo tracks! They may not be epic (or good for that matter), but it was what I could pull off in my spare time.

Well here is what I thought about those.
Demo one-It was my favorite one because it was the longest, but the red guitar (too lazy to type out damant spectrum harm #1, even though I just did) wasn’t out of tune, it was just where the acoustic guitar was right on top of the red guitar, like when the red guitar was on D and the acoustic was on E, and when the red guitar went to E and the acoustic was on F, which didn’t really sound right. Other than that, I like this one. The changing bass drum thing at the beginning was interesting.
Demo two-Sounds pretty good, but I don’t think the hi-hat being down there mixes well.
Demo three-It sounds good, but it really doesn’t feel good. Know what I’m saying?
Demo four-It’s good, but I didn’t really like the guitar jumping up an octave in sheet 2.
That’s great. I like the intense drums at the end.
I felt the damants and the acoustic conflicted slightly. I liked the bit at sheet 10.
Kind of mechanical-y.
Well it seems a little early, but I hope you’ll come up with interesting melodies.
It seems a bit like too much metal guitar, I don’t want a whole song of that.
Also you still have to finish heresy. I haven’t forgotten that.

At the start, Acoustics and Damants were mainly conflicting at D-E combinations, I believe.
(Why does spell-check say “combinations” isn’t a real word?)
Good, but got boring fairly fast.
Demo Two: (Favorite)
Enjoyed the style.
Metal Guitar was too low at the end. Tone quality.
Otherwise, this is good.
Demo Three:
If it stayed 3/4 throughout, then I’d like it.
The Snare really didn’t fit well near the end of each phrase.
If this was a full 3/4 song, it’d be good!
Demo Four:
Good at first, E flat is wrong; D is wrong. C has a bad tone but it fits good enough.
A simple drum beat would work for it.
(Did you just throw this in at the last minute?)

No, absolutely NO.
You changed the style! It sounded at first like a small, light song, even with the metal guitar.
The metal guitar up higher should’ve been more quiet!

Like i said…it was terrible…i was trying to turn it into something else…that didn’t work…then it got changed alot and failed epicly…

I didn’t know if we had a disco thread, but I didn’t make one, because this is unfinished. If we don’t have one, I’ll make one when this is done.
Not a bad start, can’t wait for the finished version.
Also, it’s a tad unnecessary to make a brand new thread for one song… just like user threads, there should be a bit to contribute before making one, wouldn’t you agree? (Besides, I don’t know if disco will be a popular enough genre here yet.)
After learning about the two-site thing with Notessimo, I went back and looked up some of my old (most are over a year old now) songs. This seemed like a good thread to put them in (except I feel more and more like I shouldn’t just dump all my unfinished stuff in here).
Tune 1
This was a failed attempt to create something that sounded like the Modern Warfare 2 theme.
Tune 2
I think this song sounds ever so vaguely like the Moonlight Sonata. It has a IVmaj7 chord, which I like the sound of, but rarely use.
Tune 3
This was going to be a version of a song that I wrote called ‘You Know That I’m Here’, but ever since I heard ‘Mighty to Save’ , I’ve pretty much given up on it.
Tune 4
The solo for this was bad. Really, really, bad. I rewrote it slightly before posting it. Still sounds pretty bad.
Tune 5
This song is the one that I think has the most potential. I might go back to it later, but I have other songs I should be working on right now.
