All of these end-of-the-world scenarios are too contrived. Every worldwide political event is now cause for Armageddon; nothing comes of it. If we’re going to pull a “dinosaur” it’s probably going to be caused by something really boring like in Vonnegut’s Galápagos.

If you really want to know when the end of the world is here there are two things that will trigger it…

  1. As biblically prophesied, there shold be a full scale attack from the Russians/Middle East on Israel, of which Israel will be saved by supernatural means. Of course this hasn’t happened yet, but it is biblically prophesied I believe in Ephesians somewhere, which everybody for the longest time thought was ludicrous…until middle 20th centery (can’t remember the year) when Israel established a country again. Keep an eye on the news, and if this event occurs, then we will officially be screwed.

  2. The Cubs win the world series…no explanation required…then we will be officially screwed
