You can unlock it if you want. But judging by all these off-topic posts, I think everyone has said everything they wanted to say about V3.

I know i’m a bit late to the party, but I’d also like to quickly add something else and therefore give some sort of closure to the thread.
-Starburst is creating V3 in his spare time, not full time as a job.

-He generously gave out the in-progress version for a closed beta to help test out bugs and speed up the progress, he doesn’t have to do this, in fact a lot of things don’t have a beta phase.
Without this, V3 would probably be less stable right now. (Basically the beta is like an early preview of a thing that has not yet been released and it will be released when starburst feels it’s ready)

-Having V3 Beta is not necessarily a right for every Notessimo member, it is a privilege for one to be a part of the V3 beta; you cannot expect to have access to it purely because you want it.

-Finally, Starburst may be taking breaks every now and then due to other things happening, give him a break, you’re lucky enough that he’s making such an amazing program for free.
That’s right, FREE, he pours hours and hours of work into something and you expect it to be given to you as if it’s your right. You can damn well wait for it. To you it may be taking a while, but that’s because he’s practically doing it alone (minus the people who have tested for bugs) and in his free time. It’s a slow process developing something.

I’m not saying this simply because i already have access to it either, Starburst is genuinely spending many hours of his own time to create a (legally) free online easy-to-use composition program and i feel as though some people may be being unfair to him.

Long story short (to answer the initial question and resolve this thread): V3 will come out when Starburst feels it’s ready to be released.
