Hm… I don’t think this is heavy enough to be metal. Maybe punk rock. It’s still good, it’s just not metal.

THIS IS NOT PUNK! According to Wikipedia, punk rock is defined by:
short songs with stripped-down instrumentation.
This is not short or stripped down. It is more likely power metal, which is the most melodic form of metal, including long guitar solos, or shred metal, a genre of metal this is really only one big guitar solo played as fast as possible.

This is NOT any sort of metal. This is definitely punk.
And you took that quote of context. Wikipedia says it’s:
“Punk bands created fast, hard-edged music,typically with short songs, stripped-down instrumentation.”
