I had my headphones in at full volume

For those wondering, the phonetic reading of the title is watashikininarimasu, and if I’m translating correctly, it should mean something along the lines of “I’m becoming a spirit” or “my spirit is roaring”, the word “watashi” meaning/referencing self, synonymous with “I”, “me”, etc. Then, “ki” meaning something along the lines of “spirit”, “soul”, “life force”, and so on (however, “ki” has many other meanings with different contexts, like “tree”, “yellow”, “danger”, “mood”, and “instrument”.). the “ni” after ki is a particle, I believe, indicating what’s interacting with the verb. Then finally, “norimasu”, or “nori/noru” as the word alone, means to become, to roar, to change, to resound, or it has a few other definitions as well.

If anyone else has a better understanding of Japanese than mine, feel free to correct me.

It’s the catchphrase of a character from Hyouka. It means “I’m curious”.
