Yume Nikki Ending by Tuxedo3002

My first piece being an arrangement, I don’t expect any good reviews. <_<

I like the melody. Some strings would fit nicely. Try adding a low key “triangle wave #1” to give it a deeper bass-y bottom (it’s in the synths tab). The last hit on the piano keyes is too loud. I realize it’s supposed to be melodic, but i recon some soft percussion might give it some extra spice. Even if it’s only a crash or a cymbal in the beginning of each sheet or something.

Cheers.

Pretty good, a bit slow, slightly repetitive, ending notes last too long, should be replaced by an empty sheet if you want a pause before the repeat, could do with more than just piano.

Overall, definitely a good starting piece. Better than my first original piece on here.

Thanks, I’ve actually been visiting for a long time before i became a member.

Welcome to Notessimo, the pianos are very good, but this song is a little repetitive, the last piano chord is too loud & i agree with Hellstick about some strings, the triangle wave, the soft percussion stuff & the crash or cymbal, they all can be quite in handy if you want to accompany your songs.

Guys, this is an arrangement, not an original piece. There isn’t much Tuxedo can do about the repetition. And anyway, it’s a beautiful theme. Good work, Tuxedo!
