It was good, but it was kinda short and basic, and the rhythm was a little all over the place, as ix mentioned, and the drums were too simple (maybe unnesseccary) and it also kinda seemed a little off-key. But still a good effort.

No Iāve heard the original song. I really like the techno bands of the 80s, such as Depeche Mode. When I first heard that āYou Spin me Roundā was a huge meme, I was astounded, it was one of my favorite songs. Itās just that I donāt really have a huge memory of the names of the songs they made.
As for your song being stolen, I wouldnāt worry about it. Now that youāve posted the song as being yours, no one is going to be fooled by the stolen version.

I think you have misunderstood my post. I love the Eurythmics and recognized that tune instantly, I just couldnāt put a name on it (guess I should have searched the title lol). As for the whole stolen thing, I was talking about this:

I have to agree, it made the song soundā¦dreamier, which is fine because thatās what the original song sounds like. Maybe itās not as clean, but the guitar in the edited version is so hard-hitting that it makes it sound worse.

I made another track that i was uncertain on where to post, since i couldnt find any topics to just post your tracks in general. I didnt really see it fit into any of the current genre threads , however, i did see a person or two in this thread who posted their second songs as well, so i guess itās ok sort of:P

Well first off, I suppose if your song doesnāt really fit into a genre it could go in the random songs thread, but I suppose it would be ok to have a few songs in this thread. Wow that is very good. The tubular bells, the organs and voxes really gave off a creepy vibe. The drumming was great, and also I loved the kalimbas. And I canāt believe Iām saying this but I also loved the techno basses. 90% of times when I hear them being used it fails horribly but I dunno you made it work in your song.
The only critisism that I have is that it was too short, I was getting into it when it ended, kinda like someone taking away my chocolate bar while I was eating it.
