So I was grinding on Platinum last night, and thought how much easier it would be to do it if I had a Lucky Egg. After 2 1/2 hours of searching for a Chansey, I only found two; one with an Oval Stone, and the other without anything.

I finlay beat Cynthia. Her Garchomp cheated and hit with Dragon Rush 15/17 times in all the times I battled her, which comes out to 88.24% accuracy, as opposed to its real accuracy of 75. My Garchomp (it’s name is Deborah)'s Dragon Rush, however, was as accurate as the label said. Anyway, I took it down with Frankie the Lucario’s Extremespeed after it was suffering continually from Poison. The rest was cake.

Those legendaries (Reshiram and Zekrom) definitely aren’t. They sound more Arabian.

That’s because there are only a few officially romanized names. Reshiram, Zeckrom, Chillarmy, and maybe Victini. The former three are definately confirmed, but Idk about the latter. Some Pokes (take Charmander) have completely different Japanese and English names: Hitokage (Jap.) and Charmander (Eng.). Some have a romanized name with minor changes: Laplace (Jap.) and Lapras (Eng.). Some even have the exact same name in both languages, like Pikachu or those legendaries.

well I saw somewhere, and I’m not sure if theyre fanmade names or not, but the names for the 3 starters in B/W (to my knowledge) are

Fire= Pignite
Water = Wotter
Grass = Smugleaf
