Talk About Stuff

Jeez dad, i do use capital letters. Gosh your so embarrasing.

What’s this now.

The proper grammar is you’re, which means you are. Gosh, you are so embarrassing.

This is my son, a young Walrus, good human. He recently went on a fishing expedition with me, and proved that he is mature enough to visit this community. I may have made a mistake with that decision.

Oh that’s adorable! I’m sure he just needs time to settle in.

If it weren’t for bad experiences in the past, I’d love to explain why I find that a bunch of baloney. However, I fear for the…I’ll use the word ā€˜sanity’ of everyone on here.

I can’t think of a better word…

How exactly did he prove himself?

I don’t see what the problem is. Living things adapt to their environment, that’s a fact. For instance, the walrus has a thick layer of blubber under the skin, they have little external appendages which means a decreased surface area, they huddle during the winter etc.

Yes, true, it’s just that the word ā€˜adapt’ has several meanings. For example, if I put on a coat, you could technically say that I adapted to the environment, while the same exact word is used to talk about a vague process over 20 generations about the development of some random factor of life, which has yet to be proven to be true.

That’s irrelevant, we’re both talking about the same meaning.

It is impossible to say for 100% if it’s ā€œtrueā€ or ā€œfalseā€. But there is so much evidence for it, it is regarded as true. I don’t see how you could be arguing against it if you aren’t aware of the mountains of evidence supporting it.

No; there is evidence for natural selection. They are two completely different things.

They are not two completely different things. Natural selection is what causes adaptation.

It never ends.

EDIT: FUDGENUGGETS IT DIDN’T WORK! GOSH DANG IT!
