The new player

Actually, I was confused. I tried using the wav converter before loading the song and after loading the song and both times it only recorded a little bit. I will keep playing around with it though to see if I can find any temporary fixes.

Starburst… could you make there be an extra set of lines in the composer thing so we could do 32nd notes? That would be cool.

(Expanding on that) Starburst should make it that you can adjust the grid marks to whatever you like (maximum 64th notes). If the song you’re working on has a high percentage of quarter notes, you can adjust the grid marks to 1/4 so it makes things easier.

Why not just increase the tempo?

What if you had a song with triplets (common problem)? YOU DIE

Ehh. The EG seems to be softer again.

Can anyone confirm that the “EarRape” bug is fixed? It seems like it was an issue with chrome(?) and the latest update fix this. Makes sure you have the latest version, you can check in the “About Google Chrome” menu. Then go to the address, “chrome://plugins/” and makes sure you have “Adobe Flash Player - Version: 11.8.800.170”, “Shockwave Flash 11.8 r800”.

I can’t reproduce the glitch since this update. I had a workaround but performance was slow so I am quite relieved I can put this bug behind but I need confirmation.

Being the noob I am, how do install the newest plugins?

I have:

Adobe Flash Player Version: 11,8,800,97

I don’t have shockwave

But I haven’t experienced any lag recently.

Just type this into your address bar: chrome://chrome/
It should update automatically with the new version 29.0.1547.76 m

Sweet! Thanks!

I mean, it’s Version: 11.8.800.170
But whatever

With Chrome, I cannot generate the Earrape glitch. With IE, the issue only occurs when you close out of a tab while a player is playing.

When you go to this page on internet explorer, which version do you have? Mine is 11,8,800,174 and I can’t reproduce it.

I still get it in firefox.

I don’t know how V3 is, but if it lists the note lengths like V2 (…, Whole, Breve, Longa), then after Longa should be the Maxima note. It looks pretty much like a Longa note.

Can you tell me which version do you have when you visit this page? I get a glitch too in firefox, but it isn’t too bad as it’s gradually fadeout, whereas the one in chrome was pretty bad with a high volume but since the latest update, in chrome, it seems to just not do it at all anymore.

Also how do you trigger it? For me I just open up a couple of pages and press play on a bunch of them while one song was already playing.

^I think that’s the only way to do it now.

I was loading another tab. I think it was to thinkgeek.com

I love thinkgeek.
