Children Childern CHILDREN! I feel I can say that because I believe I’m the oldest one in here…(can anyone top 24…25 next month?)
This little tiff has definitely gone a little to far so I’m going to try to clear the air here.
First, Star Wars. Yes, you are entitled to your opinion. And if you think the thread’s stupid then, well, what can we do, that’s your opinion. But if you have negative feeling toward this thread, first off it might be best to leave that bit of information to yourself and not visit here anymore, but if you have the urge to express that opinion, I would suggest finding a more mature way to put it. Maybe something like “I don’t really like this thread that much because etc. etc.” Saying “I think this thread’s stupid” is basically begging for an argument to start. There’s nothing wrong with stating an opinion, but just make sure to find proper wording before stating it so something like this doesn’t happen again.
Second, Anthony. Yes I do understand you are trying to defend a thread that a majority of the Notessimusicians enjoy, but is swearing about that really necessary? Yes I understand I swear, but that’s usually in the context of just talking about random shit…kinda like that. Swearing probably is not approiate when trying to argue, simply because it just adds fuel to the fire. I also understand that you calmed down and admited that that probably wasn’t the best action, and that’s good, but I just wanted to take the time to remind not just you, but everyone, please try to avoid swearing in arguments.
If we all can keep our cool and talk this stuff through more logically I think we can prevent this stuff from happening in the future. I understand nobody’s perfect and things like this will happen, but maybe refer to this post before starting something that could lead to this.
And finally, if for some reason this arguement still can’t come to a conclusion, please continue it in the “Talk about Stuff” Thread in the Off-Topic General section. This is definitely a last resort, but if this does keep on going here I may have to go ahead and lock this thread for a couple days just to force this argument somewhere else because remember, this is an Unfinished Songs/Demos Thread, not a Let’s Argue about Whether this Thread Should be Here Thread. Don’t worry mods, like I said this is a last resort thing, and it’d only be a couple days, in no way should this thread be removed.
Now with all that said I really don’t want to see another post about this, let’s move this on topic right now and start posing unfinished songs and commenting on them from this point forward.
i hope someone (hopefully you) finishes it
