If anything i’d say it’s drum and bass although i do see how that can be compared to rock in certain instances:P
I realize that some of the music ive oploaded doesnt really fit into the techno genre, but the reason why i said earlier that im a techno artist is because ive been making music for years outside notessimo - all of which was electronic.
As for the notes thingy, thanks a lot! Hopefully this will put an end to my endless struggle with notessimo chaning my notes XD
The songs to listen to are in blue, but the only one that ever got featured was Ballistics. She was a recent user who suddenly went inactive. ALL she did was techno.
EDIT: One thing I would like to say that you two have in common, you recycle a lot of things in your songs. This made Karo’s style become stale after a while. Take care you aren’t affected the same way.
Oh, and by the way, just because i concider myself an electronical music artist doesnt mean i cant make music of other genres:P
Electronic music is the style i feel most comfortable with though:)
I can definitely tell you’d make for a good electronic artist, but personally I don’t like too much techno because it almost always sounds the same to me. I do like techno, but when it’s different.
Again, I wasn’t really insulting you, I was just making a statement based on something I had noticed about you. There wasn’t much point in it, not really. So don’t take it the wrong way. You music is incredibly fun to listen to.
No no, i wasnt concidering it as an insult at all! On the controary its actually kind of nice that someone take their time to analyse me and what im doing. It means that people are showing interest in what im doing - which is rather surprising to me concidering im still conciderably new to the site and that i have made so few tracks:)
I guess what im trying to say is that its weird for me having made electronic music for years and then suddenly being called a rock artist:P
Karo, was a…active member who before November was unknown as she had multiple accounts. When she made the account Karo, no-one knew of her previously being here so she seemed to just come and go. But yes she was extremely active for those 2-3 months making songs left right and centre. Really great friend We also did 2 collabs in that time which worked out really well (Keep in mind star did actually tell me about her and because of that i helped karo with drumming by giving suggestions of different ways of drumming etc. (which is how the first collab happened))
Also…with the genre problem, i think i would class it as experimental or electronic rock (yes there is such a genre (like when pendulum featured in flames in the song “self vs self”)) but this is more rockish than techno…but its still a mix of the 2 genres and i like it
This is what I classified Hellstick’s songs as. A combination of both genres. Again, the genre has no effect on the quality of the song, which in this case is excellent. I think Drum’n’Bass is a good definition actually.
In fact i have. And although it’s ofcourse a big compliment that someone as recognized as roastmasters approve of what i do its not an official list as he himself states in the verry same post you quoted:P
I dont take the list as serious as some other members of this site do - although i still appreciate being on there:P
