That was originally from the South Park Bigger, Louder and Uncut movie…
well it rhymes, just genius cause it’s one of my fave anime with a funny amv
did you just call south park an anime?
I recently have finished listening to all of Autechre’s albums. Here are my favorites from each album i listened to (will attach my favorite track, and why) I definitely recommend them if you like electronic music/glitch/idm/etc.etc. ![]()

Incunabula (1993)
fav track: Bike
Autechre- Bike - YouTube
really tight analogue jam[/details]
Amber (1994)
fav track: montreal

Autechre - Montreal - YouTube i really like the sound going through the track that sounds like pebbles bouncing on a metal shack or something, but like the really cool groove more importantly…
Tri repetae (1995)
fav track: dael
[details=Click to expand] Dael - Tri Repetae - Autechre - YouTube
the extremely low sawtooth makes me feel funny, i like the groove again…
(i also like the album art as well. minimalism rocks, heh.)[/details]
Chiastic Slide (1997)
fav track: nuane
[details=Click to expand]Autechre - Nuane - YouTube
really like the harsh, noisy percussion, the lead synths, the woozy bassline. i also like the synth pad (and the bass, good gosh) fluttering away for three minutes straight at the end[/details]
LP5 (1998)
fav tracks: acroyearII and fold4, wrap5
[details=Click to expand]- YouTube
no other way to put this for acroyearII, but i just love all the chaos in the track. this track made the album a favorite right away for me.
fold4, wrap5: amazing effect with the bpm, making the song seem to get slower and slower, although in reality the bpm always ends up right where it starts. i love auditory illusions. in this case, they are actually making a song out of the barberpole effect. i heard a little bit of a reversed version of the song, and sure enough, it seems to get faster and faster. really creative track [/details]
Confield (2001)
fav track: lentic catachresis

- YouTube about 2:50 into the song, everything just turns into a fustercluck of drums (especially bass drums lol). really tricky rhythms (or just drum spam, if you’d like to call it that) i didn’t really get it while listening at first, then sometime (during the same listen) I just started laughing at how truly awesome it was.
Draft 7.30 (2003)
fav track: 6IE.CR
[details=Click to expand]- YouTube
the drums. THE DRUMS.
the distortion. THE DISTORTION.[/details]
Untilted (2005)
fav track: Sublimit
[details=Click to expand]Autechre - Sublimit - YouTube
love this 16 minute jam because it keeps the glitchy-ness interesting the whole entire time (i don’t know how they do it)[/details]
Quaristice (2008)
fav track: 90101 - 5I-I
[details=Click to expand]Autechre - 90101-5l-l - YouTube
don’t really know why i like this track, but it’s really good.
Oversteps (2010)
fav track: r ess
[details=Click to expand]Autechre - r ess - YouTube
really lonely sounding track, yet i love it. takes a wee bit long to start, but it’s still really good.
[/details]
Exai (2013)
fav track: bladelores
[details=Click to expand]Autechre - bladelores - YouTube
i love the seemingly never ending reverb on the pad, and the heavy sidechaining near the end.
i like the bass. [/details]
and also FLeure

Autechre - Fleure - YouTube this. was. the. track that got me into autechre. the second the watery beats and all the chaos started, i was hooked on this album.
Favorite albums!
Exai, Quaristice, Untilted, Lp5, Confield, Draft 7.30
Start anywhere with Autechre. I just really dug around with an open mind, and really came to like them, so if you want to try either glitchy, or relatively chill albums, here’s a reference.
Glitchier albums: Exai, Untilted, Draft 7.30, Confield, LP5, Chiastic Slide, Tri Repetae
(Relatively) Chill albums: Oversteps, Quaristice, Chiastic Slide, Tri Repetae, Amber, Incunabula
Happy listening!
lool, SP = not anime
